Sharon Russell was born and grew up in Tulsa, graduating from Will Rogers High School. She attended Oklahoma State University and Central State University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design. Having lived and worked in northeastern Oklahoma most of her life, she is very familiar with Tulsa and its surrounding communities including Broken Arrow, where she currently lives.
Before joining the real estate field in February 2019, Sharon worked in the furniture, lighting, interior finishes, flooring, and home furnishings industries as an Interior Designer, and as an Inside and Outside Sales Rep traveling the state of Oklahoma and southern Kansas for over three decades. Her interior design work has been showcased in 12 Oklahoma City Designer Showhouses, one OKC Parade Home, and in two Oklahoma Home Builders Association Street of Dreams. She continues to work as an Interior Designer, bringing her skills, knowledge, and expertise to her real estate buyers and sellers today. Specializing in residential, commercial, and new construction listings, Sharon is an expert in guiding her clients through downsizing, upsizing, working with movers, drafting floor and furniture plans, specifying interior finishes, remodeling, and staging homes for sale. She is dedicated to helping her customers exceed their goals, and says, “My passion is in helping my clients not only find their dream home, but also to help them realize and obtain their functional and aesthetic needs.”
Sharon is a member of Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors (GTAR), the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission (OREC), and the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and has participated in the Oklahoma Home Builders Association Parade of Homes and the Street of Dreams Homes fundraisers benefitting the Make a Wish Foundation. A registered Interior Designer, Sharon belongs to the American Society of Interior Design, the National Council of Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ), the Examination and Qualifications Board for State Licensure/Registration. When not working, Sharon enjoys spending quality time with her family, watching OSU football and basketball, attending musicals and Philharmonic Orchestra concerts, going to the lake, and traveling. She has mentored many interior design students through the college internship programs from OU, OSU, and UCO.
